Some people believe China should end its one child policy because of the gender imbalance. There are far less drastic measures. The cause of the gender imbalance is sex selective abortions. It is illegal for a doctor to tell anyone the sex of the baby. The government needs to hire pregnant women to get doctors to tell them the sex of their baby and then arrest and fine the doctor if he does. Once doctors are paranoid that every pregnant women is a government agent they will follow the law and the imbalance will end. Second the government needs to encourage interracial marriage. Why should the han race suffer when all the other races in china could suffer the consequences of the gender imbalance. Han males should be given a large sum of money after marrying a femal of a different race. This would also help to unite China as more people become han. Their are over 100 million people in China that arn't Han and a lot of them are women. Tabet doesn't even have a gender imbalance. The government needs to give incentives to give han men an advanage over all other races. This will not only solve the gender imbalance but reduce the power of the minorities maybe some will even be wiped out.
China can also encouage women from Pakistan, India, Mongolia, bangladesh, north Korea, Afganistan, Vietnman, kazakhstan ect. to immigrate to China. A large influx of women will end the gender imbalance.
