Chicago gun control: 2016 - 762 murders

And the concept of an "innocent victim" is the rarity.

Most victims and perps are criminals "in the game".

In Chicago, hug-a-thug leftists run a revolving door "justice" system and then whine and cry that they need to have more power to disarm / infringe on the rights of citizens who they are unwilling to protect.

That is the ultimate insult; the law-abiding citizens must live in a city where the law forcibly renders them impotent to fight back against an army of violent criminals the city refuses to hold to the law . . .
 
What most people forget is that criminals with illegally obtained weapons are responsible for the shootings. So why does anyone think that tightening gun laws will keep guns away from criminals? I really don't get it.
If a thug wants to kill someone, he or she will get a gun somewhere and commit the crime, while Ma and Pa Kettle have their weapons safely in their gun cabinets.

Not nasty . . .

Just an honest statement borne out of frustration.

Attrition is the only downward pressure on the population of violent criminals in Chicago.

The justice system has failed; people are helpless.

It's no wonder a Utopian solution seems to be to arm the thugs and let them kill each other off.
 
"Chicago formerly prohibited the sale of firearms within city limits, but on January 6, 2014, a federal judge ruled that this was unconstitutional. The judge granted the city's request for six months to pass new laws regulating gun shops."

So it's now legal for a Black man to purchase a firearm in Chicago ... but his purchase has to be on videotape.
