Charlottesville police looking for 10 Antifa suspects

Charlottesville police are asking the public to help identify 10 assault suspects in an Aug. 12 incident on the Downtown Mall.

According to a news release, authorities are investigating an alleged assault in the area of the Fourth Street crossover.

Detective Brady Kirby said the incident took place shortly after a car drove into a crowd of people near the crossover, killing one and injuring dozens more.

Some of the suspects appear to have physically attacked one person in the course of about a minute.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to contact Kirby at (434) 970-3694 or Crime Stoppers at (434) 977-4000.
