Bragg ran on getting Donald Trump. The people in his district elected him partially based on that promise. So the jury pool will be full of people that voted on getting Donald Trump. There is ZERO chance Trump can get a fair jury in that district. So if the judge is going to be fair to Donald Trump he has to grant a change of venue. So if he does not grant a change of venue we will know he is not going to be fair to Trump and Trump will not get a fair trial. Will the judge pervert the legal system like Bragg or will he be ethical ?

If there is a trial, it will probably be two years from now, and this case will be the least of Trump’s legal problems at that point

It is a bad tactic to request a change in venue and accuse a judge of having bias before the case even begins.

If this judge is foolish enough to allow this to go to trial without an immediate dismissal, there are other avenues for justice should there be any obvious bias. You have appeals and the ultimate authority in the Supreme Court.

There is no way the Judge will grant a change of venue even though he should. It will be a mistrial issue.

Trump will appeal ANY guilty verdict, regardless of the venue.

Peremptory challenges. That’s what are used to weed out unsatisfactory jurors. Some can be dismissed outright before any challenges are necessary.
