Tells a female reporter it's funny to hear a woman talk about routes a receiver runs. I don't disagree with what he said but the fact is ratings are down for the league and now you have one of its superstars offending half of the population. Not a good look for the NFL
 
Boy this really creates a conundrum for the social justice warriors. You got Cam who is black insulting women. Which protected group do the social justice warriors side with? Maybe if Cam were a transgender muslime?

If they base it on what they chose when it came to picking a Presidential candidate, I'll predict they'll go black and never go back.

You're not doing a very good job at deflecting.

And from a political perspective what's funny is there was a movement within the black community to boycott the NFL because of the treatment of Kap. Now white liberals are celebrating the NFL because the league spoke out against Trump. Once again white folks taking away the original meaning of the protest to their own agenda. Way to go Florida
 
I think this is a bit of an overreaction, but Cam was pretty dumb to say it. It IS a sport played by dudes, and that's the perspective he's coming from. At the same time, it was completely disrespectful - there are obviously a ton of women who cover football and understand the game, and they're just doing their jobs.

Cam has had his media issues previously, and I think he tends to view these mandatory pressers in a Belicheckian kind of way - with disdain. He let that become a sexist thing, so deserves the criticism, but people should chill a little. It was just a dumb remark.

I follow some women sports reporters on twitter and sure enough they were all up in arms over it. I'm obviously not a woman so I'm not going to tell them what they should feel but like you said it was a dumb comment but also not the end of the world
 
no woman is qualified to talk about sports. There is no woman that can have the experience of a man that plays a sport. Olympic level accomplished women are routinely beaten by high school boys in almost all sports they compete in. One can study the game but that is no replacement for being a former player/coach etc when it comes to analysis. The numbers are in and qualified women analysts vs. qualified men analysts might be a 1:1000 ratio. They can keep crying.

I hate when I watch baseball playoffs now and I have to listen to some lady softball player act as if she knows what's shes talking about. it sucks :(

besides girly things like gymnastics, or simple things like running (which every human is born to do) women are not athletic. period.
 
I got a laugh out of it, too. These fragile little supposedly strrronnnnnng females need to chill out and get a sense of humor.
