We have many advantages living in California and one of them is being at the forefront of national election voting. This is going to be a heated primary season with lots of candidates to choose from. I'm excited that who I choose today could have a big influence on who the actual nominee will be.

Only five Republicans listed on the ballot including Jim Gilmore. How did that guy get on the California ballot?

i expected sanders to lose everywhere else as i dont think he put effort into those areas but im very surprised at california.
 
I'm surprised he lost a Dakota. Doesn't look like enough young proles threw-on their Che or USSR red tees and headed-out to the poles in Caliph-ornia.
 
It was a great campaign for values of people over corporations, against the bought and sold servile press, and for addressing income inequality.
It was especially heartening to see young people enthused - America is only as strong as it's people work to make it..

I loved listening to Bernie's addressing the "struggles".. code words for socialists and now passed on as a mainstream idea.


"Power to the People". damn straight. Right on brothers and sisters. We the People endure.
 
I still have no idea why a party that claims to represent progressive leftism would nominate Crooked Hillary over Bernmaster Sandy (also a theme within the GOP, of course). I mean, you have a party that's existed officially since 1828 (with origins in Aaron Burr/Tammany Hall, 1800), but has to disavow its entire history pre-1932 (because even Wilson, while influential, is somewhat toxic). This suggests that the Democratic Party wants to be the party of FDR. In that case, Bernie is a much closer version of FDR (and he's unlikely to intern Muslims or Japanese, too!) than either Clinton is...

we're in the mode of "uber-equality" where who you are means as much as what you stand for.
Mostly the Democratic Party is self serving -and Clinton is the establishment -not some independent socialist.

So you design it ( closed primarys / limited Saturday night debates, getting the backing of the stooge press) to give the impression of choice
but the endgame of centralized power. The inevitability factor is baked in.

they don't want to admit it but a lot of them are just voting cause she has a vag. She's a war mongering neo-con. The stuff many liberals ranted about on here for a decade. She took a very hard line against gay marriage and now all the gays are supporting her. She talks about regulating the banks while getting paid 250k to talk about god knows what. I guess her speeches are really that good lol...She is the quintessential proof how fucking stupid our nation (and this board) is. You can lie, cheat, be one way for a whole decade and change right with the poll numbers and people wont think anything of it. Or they wont even care. She's literally under an FBI investigation lmao. hmm i recall reading somewhere that there were 3 million new voters in CA. The total number of votes is like 4-5 million.

i think turnout has been surpressed somehow.

Clinton got away with Clinton Foundation trust fund, essentially lieing about her emails, and destroying Libya to create a terrorist state.
