Jashanpreet Singh, 21, just killed three people in an 8-vehicle pileup on California's I-10 after allegedly driving a semi-truck under the influence of drugs straight into slowed traffic at full speed.

Jason Calmelat, witness:

"It didn't stop. It didn't swerve. It didn't make any kind of maneuvers. It just went straight in."

Officer Rodrigo Jimenez, CHP:

"This could have been prevented if somebody had been paying attention sober."

Singh is an illegal immigrant from India who was reportedly caught at the California border in 2022 and released by the Biden administration under catch-and-release policies.

Jashanpreet Singh, the semi-truck driver suspected of killing three people in a DUI crash on the 10 freeway in Ontario, CA yesterday, is an Indian illegal alien who was caught & released at the CA border by the Biden admin in March 2022. DHS photo of him attached via federal sources.

I’m told ICE is placing a detainer request on Singh with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, where he is in custody on suspicion of DUI causing great bodily injury and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. He has not been formally charged yet.

Police say Singh was speeding and under the influence, never hitting his breaks, when he crashed into slow moving traffic on the freeway, causing a devastating and deadly chain reaction crash that killed 3 people. The victims have not been identified yet.

Per ABC News, a law enforcement source confirmed Jashanpreet Singh was in the U.S. illegally. He is reportedly an Indian national who entered the country in 2022.

"He was eventually transported to the hospital, and he was checked out by the medical staff, and our officers determined he was driving under the influence of drugs," said CHP Ofc. Rodrigo Jimenez.

On Wednesday, Eyewitness News learned one of the victims was identified as a 54-year-old man from Upland. His name hasn't been released. The remaining two were severely burned in the crash and have not been identified.

As printed on the booking information in that post. That means the idiots in the state of California could potentially let this guy out of jail on bail where he could flee the country and justice. How fucking stupid are the people in California?
