wow....bush is omnipotent....he doesn't need to be president to still be in charge of the debt. nevermind that obama voted to extend the same tax breaks....it is still bush's fault, nevermind obama expanded the afghanistan war, invaded libya....nope....it is still bush's fault!!!!!

What is this I hear? Bush is responsible for HALF the debt? WOW... so Bush isn't responsible totally and completely for something? Man you've come a long way in three years, back when Bush was still president, you would have NEVER only given him partial blame! I think you are softening up... or maybe you are realizing how idiotic you've been, and how America ain't buying your excuses anymore? Now it's time to 'modify' all this Bush Hate bullshit so it sounds more plausible... that's why Bush is suddenly only responsible for HALF the debt instead of ALL the debt, like you would have claimed a few years back. I guess that's progress.

well, to be honest, Bush is responsible for about a quarter of it.......all the other presidents before him are responsible for another quarter.....and Obama finishes off with the other half.......after all, is it really fair to blame Bush's tax cuts for all the deficit?........he wasn't omnicient.........how was he to know Obama would come along and spend a buttload of money........

Sorry Kenny.... but you have an Epic Fail on this one yet again.
1) The Bush tax cuts as signed by Bush were to expire in 2010. The 'debt' from those tax cuts that he is responsible for ended as of last December. The Obama tax extension is responsible for the 'debt' from the cuts from the start of 2011 until the end of 2012 when they are again set to expire.
2) The Wars in Iraq is winding down.... it is the Obama escalation in Afghanistan and now Libya that will be costing us. Obama is the one responsible for the costs of those as of January 2009.
3) It was Obama that added a $800-900 billion stimulus plan to our nations debt.
4) It was Obama that took the 'largest deficits ever' under Bush and quadrupled them.
5) Fannie and Freddie are about to blow up again... that too will be on Obama and Congress for an Epic Fail of their own for not resolving the problems that led us into this mess to begin with.
