Britain to send military advisers to Libyan rebels

TRIPOLI, Libya – Britain is sending up to 20 military advisers to help Libya's ragtag rebel force break a military stalemate with Moammar Gadhafi's army, even as NATO acknowledges that airstrikes alone cannot stop the daily shelling of the besieged opposition-held city of Misrata.

is this another iraq? i supported this action when i believed obama was going to remove gadhafi....what are we doing now? seems like another iraq...potentially

I think it's hilarious that you supported the action when you believed Obama was going to remove Qaddafi but now are worried that it could be another Iraq because we haven't removed Qaddafi. You are aware that we removed Saddam Hussein in Iraq aren't you?

i don't want another iraq. and yes, we did remove saddam, but had a very poor plan for aftermath.

further, obama claims to know the rebels, they are doctors, professionals, lawyers etc.....different than iraq in that regard. there is nothing funny about wanting gadhafi's removal IF we are going to engage him militarily
