Britain: forecasters warn of perilous conditions until 'White Easter'

Bloody Hell, just imagine how much you would win for betting on a White Easter!! This is the coldest spring since 1963, must be all that global warming.

Winter's fightback is set to continue throughout the week, as the country prepares itself for freezing temperatures and dangerous ice.

Power cuts and travel disruption continue to blight Britain today, as parts of the country saw flurries of snow on another bitterly cold day.

But as the cold winds caused deep drifts in areas where several feet of snow fell earlier in the weekend, forecasters have warned of the risk of ice as lying snow melts on roads and pavements and refreezes by night.
