the intelligence community had information that russia was doing its best with the help of wikileaks to get trump elected by hacking into democratic emails reporting problems of the dems but not the reps.

a presentation was made to the leaders of congress (both dems and reps) to ask if they wanted the information made public. the dems were all in favor and about half the reps. however, mccconell said that if the information was published that he would claim that it was just a partisan effort to make the reps look bad so the information was sat on.

wikileaks never noticed that all of the information being leaked to them was about the dems and none of it was about the reps.

wonderful. a foreign nation did its best to influence our presidential election, and succeeded!

they didn't? Everybody could see they were targeting Clinton and the Dems in general to a lessor extent.
But at least Wiki isn't "Fake News". It gave us a frighting inside look at ClintonWorld.

Yeah, Assange and his friends are hardly stupid. They knew exactly what was going on. I have pointed out before that Crooked Hillary was really just the victim of recency. Had she been running against a President Romney, Wikileaks would have likely had a lot to say about him, although, certainly, they were also not fans of her tenure at State, which preceded the last four years. That said, she represented a third term of Obama, and people like Assange have no love for him based upon his heavy use of drones, alone.

and now we are getting an even more frightening look inside trumps world and all of the lies that he told workers to get their votes.

she was also the victim of a large amount of misogyny

too many voters were not ready for a female president, especially after having a black president (half black that is).

You support an illegally installed despot
How does it feel to be a dupe?

Maybe the most damning leaks showed how much of the media dove-tailed with the Clinton campaign. Parts of the media [and not a minor part of it like Breitbart] were essentially extensions of the Clinton campaign.

Hopefully, they will never recover from it.

her baggage was her own. stop trying to blame everyone else for her loss-she was obviously a corrupted liar/oligarch/warmonger.
On top of that she ran a pur negative campaign "Trump is unfit" - with no reason given to vote for her other then being a woman.

She was rejected as a piss poor candidate.

which is why Wiki was so valuable here. The media tore into Trump but did no investigation of Clinton unless it was forced coveraage like the Emails. WIKI ( Podesta inbox) showed her campaign was craven without purpose

Prior to Assange [bless his heart lol] and Wiki, the perception of the media by most conservatives was that at best, they were supine in the face of liberal screw ups; and at worst, they were basically aiding and abetting them. We just couldn't prove anything.

Wiki lent truth to the latter.

Putin feared her. Trump is his puppet.

Lol you cons are criticizing WaPo for publishing the Russian hack, which US intel confirmed, yet you believe Alex Jones about the 3 million illegal voters with no proof whatsoever.

Yeah, but your own link said Intel's opinion was that the Russians couldn't change ballots or affect the outcome of the election. As far as Wiki goes, if Hillary wasn't a scoundrel and if the media wasn't corrupt, Wiki would have nothing of consequence to reveal.

Put another way, if Hillary would have won in absence of Wiki, she and the democrats would have won by cheating. I'm 100% sure Hillary and many of her supporters would have been ok with that.

I absolutely feel no pain for them. They thoroughly deserved to be Trumped.

Using your logic, how do you know trump didn't win by cheating? Wikileaks handed him a gift by focusing on Hillary. Wonder what's the quid pro quo for leaving trump alone.

its why i stopped accepting "unnamed sources" from msm. They had that privelege before but lost it now.

what was the quid pro quo for the entire media siding with hillary? :)

Wikileaks was on our side yes. The main difference is that anyone who has ever discussed the emails ,like colin powell for instance, has admitted they were 100% true. Very different from random unnamed sources.
