Boycott backfires

Yeah, lets see what happens in August when its eleventy billion degrees in AZ and San Diego is just a short trip.

I guess you're a perfect example of CA home schooling, if you believe that AZ gets to "eleventy billion degrees", during the summer.

We pretty much tolerate 2 1/2 months of high temp, for 9 1/2 months of nice weather.

Plus; out of those 2 1/2 months, only about 45 days have high humidity.

Care to see who cries uncle first??
CA with 1/4 less power, or AZ not going to visit CA.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm!!

Brilliant NOT response top demospin believer. It appears, however, that you might think that you are a guru with respect to klansman. You know them well, huh?

I know that's who wrote your law in AZ, and your pinheads are stupid enough to let the ghestapo rule.

Well hells bells, Homer!

Jist the other day, Velma Louise was frying eggs and bacon on the sidewalk, and brewing coffee on the curb, it was so dab burn hot here in Airy-zone-uh!

Should'a seen it, should'a!

Nigel, seeing as I am from around that area, I believe that you will see those people going more likely to Flagstaff or other places of higher elevation in Arizona and New Mexico. And, more importantly, it is the institutions and businesses in Arizona that book meetings and conventions in San Di Stupid, er San Diego, that is having the most effect. And the officials in San Di Stupid, er San Diego, are already crying and moaning. For your information, I live near Flagstaff, and my wife and I (and three other couples) have cancelled cruises that go round trip out of San Di Stupid, er San Diego. We changed to cruises out of Galveston. We have taken twenty or so cruises out of San Di Stupid, er San Diego, but no more. I suppose that the cruise ship companies may not be too happy with San Di Stupie, er San Diego.

AHHHHHHHHHH, you went and ruined everything.

I was going to wait until he had his "rant-du-jour" going really strong and then I was going to spring the Flagstaff thing on him.

I'd probably move from the flat lands, to Flagstaff; but I've got this aversion to raking leaves and shoveling snow, after doing it for 18 years in the midwest. :cof1:

LOL

Does anybody want to bet that Topper followed along party lines (Attorney General Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano) and did not read the 15 pages of Arizona's new immigration law. All those words without pictures must have confused them all.

I bet you're right. LOL

actually, Arizona won't have to do a thing....the LA City ordinance already requires that LA terminate the agreement...

-- by suspending official travel there and ending future contracts with state businesses

I would assume the Arizona utility companies are included within "state businesses"......

so apparently, Topper didn't even read his own ordinance....

personally, I think that LA ought to ban official travel EVERYWHERE, since they don't have the money to pay their bills.....

I"m going to send the Mayor of LA an E-Mail tomorrow and pretty much say the same thing.

Are they going to hold to their faux principals or are they just going to be AZ bitch.

if the other state BOYCOTTS them and cancel's their contracts....then the contract obligation obviously isn't important between states at this time...

if you're going to boycott a state and hurt them economically, then prepared to face a taste of your medicine and AZ should be allowed to rescind any contracts for this economic act of harm... that is basically economic warfare between states....the contracts won't hold

Not only that, but these sort of disputes take months and sometimes years to settle in the courts. I hope LA enjoys living in the dark while that takes place!

I think that would be funnier then hell.

When I send them the E-Mail; I'm going to ask if they would be willing to take all the illegals that AZ are going to deport.
If they agree; we could just take them to the CA border, on I-8 or I-10, and just turn them over to the California Highway Patrol.

WIN-WIN SITUATION :cof1:

It seems pretty clear Villaraigosa was trying to win political points with his anti-AZ comments and this dude basically called him out and said be consistent and don't accept our power.

Villaraigosa probably thought this AZ law was a godsend as something to give him distraction for how corrupt and poorly he has run LA.
