So this certificate is enough to prove you were born in the United States for all purposes except for being president?
 
jarod, you have been told/informed whatnot....dozens upon dozens of times that snopes is false. that is a copy of his COLB, not his original b/c. since you run around the site talking about your lawyer status, you as a lawyer should know the difference.

enough for what? you're a lawyer and you must know that the COLB is not the best evidence. further....you claimed the COLB is the b/c....it isn't. can you finally admit obama has never released a copy of his birth certificate?

Its the same thing with the same effect. He can get a passport and a drivers liscence with it. There is no law that one must produce a B/C to be president.

Hell! It's not there. It's in the desert at Area 51 in an underground vault, with Plod the space alien that had a thing for Hillary!

Obviously it isn't for about 58% of the US who are not certain where the President was born. The problem is, for those people, that this certificate could be made without backup paperwork and that currently it appears as if this one may have been. With the ex-employee signing an affidavit that states that there is no original paperwork, with the governor's friend making it clear the governor couldn't find the same it becomes a larger question.

I imagine if all his story tracked true that this would be enough for most of that 58%, unfortunately much of the "official" story has simply been found to be false.

I think that several states passing laws requiring original documents may solve this problem in the future for every candidate.

Thankfully it isn't enough of a distraction that we don't talk about his bad policy, so those people who think it was planned by Obama to distract from his terrible policy are either a bit off or the plan didn't work.

1: A COLB is not adequate proof of birth status in all states. The state of Montana and several others require an official copy of the original birth certificate for first issuance of DLs or passports.

2: Neither a driver license nor a passport requires one to be a natural born citizen, so using those as examples of things Obama has obtained with his COLB does not work.

3: what evidence do you have that Obama got his passport and first DL using only a COLB? Oh, that's right, by all indications, there is no actual birth certificate in existence to back up the claims made on the COLB.

The whole Obama thing is nonsense EXCEPT for the fact that the existence of the issue itself shows a hole in the election process. Hopefully those states who are passing laws requiring proof of eligibility to be put on the ballot will prevent this kind of nonsense from ever happening again.
