Black caucus says it will allow Republicans

notice how onceler ran from post 30 and instead blathered about something nonsensical...especially given he actually tried to debate with me and then realized his embarrassing attempt and limped away with his tail between his legs....

:)
I think he smokes the same shit TCLiberal smokes....

lol....a group of black reps, which are the voice of the people, form a race based group, but nigel would have us believe they don't speak for blacks in general....its clear they believe they do

nigel....tff

typical dishonest cherry picking by onceler...i could give more examples, but i don't want to embarrass him further

typical dishonest onceloer....cherry pick and ignore the fact i've repeatedly said they speak for african americans in general, at least that is what they purport....

its comical how you can view this thread and claim i was speaking about the entire world....when the very post you quoted had me citing them expressly saying african americans....

go ahead and keep bumping this onceler, apparently you're too dumb to realize how stupid you look

Even that claim is hilariously obtuse.

Again - they are a Congressional Caucus. They state that they are bring an African-American perspective - one from within Congress - to public policy specifically.

It's so easy to understand.

lmao...there can be more than on person who speaks for a group, think of our government

fact is nigel, they do in fact believe they speak for african americans...i can't seriously believe you are hanging your hat on "an" for "the"...lol

i couldn't resist this other example that i'm claiming they believe they speak for the entire worldwide population of black people....

lmao

There's been over 200 years of an unofficial white male caucus. Cry me a river.

There is nothing wrong with an official Black Caucus to address the specific needs in districts unique to blacks.

I believe that it serves the motives of the political machine for the democrat party to maintain uniquely black districts. Welfare of various types is a large part of the Black Caucus' agenda. Good intentions to help do not always help and more often then not with welfare programs, cripple a persons desire to help themselves. These kinds of machinations are not unique to how democrats treat their constituency. For unions, teachers, Latinos, women, etc. they use the language and incentives specific for each group that will keep them in their voting block and in some cases these voters are represented in more than one block.

The problem from a conservative viewpoint is that democrat policy encourages these problems no matter the good intentions by well meaning democrats. Conservative black Americans have a unique perspective that might actually be, not just instructive, but truly helpful. I wish these brave conservative few all the best! Who knows some day maybe there will not be a need for a “Black Caucus” .
