He did not want to go in there it was a personal thing, he runs that company what he says goes he told his lawyers settle it, try and get the best deal you can get, and that’s why it was settled. It had nothing to do with prime-time talent. It had nothing to do with vision of the image of what Fox News is, he didn’t want to go so they settled it. They got the money, they got other exposure coming up.

That's easy: they were guilty and they knew it. Having the Murdochs under oath is a sure way to either go to prison for perjury or confirm to their investors they fucked up.
 
The Murdochs have no interest in fighting for us or the Constitution.....it is all about them.....that much is true.

Fox just wanted to limit the embarrassment. This has already been incredibly damaging to their credibility.
