Bill O’Reilly Confronts Ted Koppel Over Criticisms Of ‘Ideological’ Fox News Coverage

Tea Is The New Kool-Aid
Bill O’Reilly Confronts Ted Koppel Over Criticisms Of ‘Ideological’ Fox News Coverage. Ted Koppel "It's a business, and it's operating as a business. And once upon a time you and I thought journalism was a calling (not a for profit business)." O'Reilly counters, "but I still think I'm doing something nobile." Ted Koppel ends with a kiss to the uneducated moron. (who happens to be one of the most educated, uneducated morons on Fox News)

Bill O'Reilly didn't confront Ted Koppel; he lectured this intellectually challenged Liberals Kool-Aid laced statements about Fox News compared to leftist outlets that have no news.

O'Reilly has more intelligence in his big toe than all his critics combined. But you're a leftist, since when have facts, reality or truth ever been a concern of yours.

Clearly, nobody here watched the video. Koppel calmly made O'Reilly look like an ass. Especially when he asked Billo for specifics re. those who were viewing Fox's garbage in the morning/afternoon....and Bill had to admit "I don't know"

Let me get this right....you say O'Reilly looked like as ass because he didn't know the number of people watching at 3 or 4 in the afternoon....

Thats your claim....? Really ?

If O'reilly said there were 100,000 watching, Koppel could next ask what color shoes they were wearing, and when Bill said he didn't know, you would still make the same assinine claim.

Man...you are one total idiot......how lame can you possibly get ?

I think they both made valid points. Kopel is correct that Fox News shrill partisanship is harming the nations political discourse. I think he is right. O'Reily said that it is a business and he is right. They are selling a product to a market. I have no problem with that. Don't like Fox News? Change the channel. You don't have to buy what they are selling.

Koppel is seldom right; much like you. The bolded part illustrates that you don't watch Fox News, but rather mindlessly parrot the idiot talking points you have been fed like a buffoon.

The shrill hyper partisanship that Is driving a wedge in the discourse in this country comes from the likes of Obama, Dirty Harry Reid and other dimwitted asshat Dems who claim Republicans are terrorists and hostage takers.

But you're a dimwit who drinks tat loony leftist kool-aid; how could you possibly comprehend reality or the facts.

Bill owned that leftist dipstick Koppel; again.

I watched the video, and Koppel was again talking out of his ass and got lectured by Bill.

O'Reilly educated? I think Andrea Mackris thinks otherwise. He seemed pretty stupid in that whole thing. Like a lot of rape fetish guys, he apparently didn't even know what a loofa was!

Unfortunately all channels are selling a product to a market and that is the main contradiction and problem with the media in America. There are at least two subjects that are officially off limits in American journalism: first: the propriety of corporate capitalism is itself never questioned or discussed; and second: the tole of the U.S. as a superpower and its right to intervene in other nation's affairs like no other nation is beyond debate. And this still leaves open the question of what it means for a country to have almost no state supported media and what we have has become much more partisan in the last few years and it being subjected to the same kinds of market driven criteria that has stories of Justin Bieber displacing hard news all around the country!

Nothing to add.

Billo's premise was that Fox News was doing 'hard news' during the day. Koppel wanted to know how many of the viewers that Billo bragged about, were tuning in during the hours that were supposedly 'hard news'.

Billo choked on his tongue

Naturally, because you are a bonafide Leftist, you try to make one of your Leftist cohors, Koppel, look good. That will not help you, this video proves that there needs to be a Congressional investigation into Left Wing bias within the Main Stream media. The typical Left Wing tactic is to change the subject like Koppel tried to do, that kiss was done because Koppel was stumped/speechless, another chutzpa tactic used by rude Leftist jackasses, when they get cornered.

Of course Ted was calm. Liars usually are. They have to be if they are going to be convincing.

Most liberals/leftists know they are jacking up this country, but they will never admit that. They will tell you everything they are trying to do is constitutional. Liars must be cool when they are lying, or they will never get what they want.
