Bill Maher telling like it is about the police culture and how it must change! We really need to examine this police culture we have?

Does black culture need to change or do you think a 70% illegitimacy rate has zero impact.

Data is 100% conclusive that children raised by single mothers do worse by every single metric by which we judge a functioning society.

Over the last 40 years we have see a complete breakdown of the family unit and society suffers. The police are nothing more than a convenient excuse for the federal government to nationalize more of our lives.

Just a fun tidbit.

In New York City, It is more dangerous for a black kid to be in the womb than in the presence of a cop. Just ponder that for a second.

I agree w/ everything he said in that video.

It's not anti-cop at all. It's just what the reality is now. He's not talking about all police, and he's right that the general culture does need to change.

Let's assume BLM gets everything they want: zero blacks unjustly killed by cops.

Do you think they would close up shop?

Were his stats wrong?

It's sad , but not surprising that you think his "stats" are the issue.

Of course it is just like all those stories I read about white cops ambushing negroes. You know the ones I am talking about. Where the cops put a bucket of KFC, a watermelon and a welfare check in the middle of the street and as soon as the sambos go running for it, the cops open fire. Good times.

I know the answer and what it means lol.

No, they wouldn't close up shop. They're agitators and would just find something else.

Your viewpoint is like a textbook case of disconnect.

I just feel bad for you, more than anything. You're not listening. You talk like they're some criminal group who is holding someone hostage, and making unreasonable demands.

Wow I hadn't seen this. Some cold truths told there. I'm pained by the murder of these police officers, it's so horrible. But he's not wrong about police culture. I'll tell you he brought up something interesting about "perks". It all depends of course, and if you're a cop in I don't know, shithole bama, yeah you get free donuts I guess. If you're a cop in NYC? Perks are a little different. They can even become more of a lifestyle than a perk, especially if you make detective.

I am not one who actually believes it had to come to this. I don't think this helps anyone, and I absolutely 100% believe that like 98% of BLM activists don't want this. Look up Deray and listen to him...this is movement to end violence, not escalate it. I don't have any answers btw. I think Maher told some interesting truths. I also personally suspect our President is heartbroken over race relations in this country right now, as well as absolutely furious about the gun issue, and I believe this is what you will see his post-Presidency largely dedicated to. We'll see.

Is police culture the only root of the problem?

Where's the analogy...here it is:

Police culture is the leaky faucet. The dysfunction in parts of the black community [where the bulk of the newsworthy cop encounters occur] which contributes to blacks killing one another, is the collapsed roof.

BLM is all about fixing the faucet.
