It's understandable that liberals give other liberals a pass, just as conservatives are likely to give other conservatives a pass. it'd be nice if people were fair and eschewed double standards, but I don't think it's realistic to expect it.

The entertainment business is notoriously full of liberals. Some are liberal by conviction; others may be moderates who fear revealing their political leanings.

Is it any surprise that a liberal dominated-business favors liberals and comes down hard on the rare conservative in their midst?
