I’ve never actually sat and watched one of Bill Maher’s shows but because of social media I’ve seen enough clips to have a certain level of understanding about it.

Generally he seems like your run of the mill liberal except in two ways; when calling out religion he’s calls out Muslims and he does goes after excess wokeness. In this polarized age we tend to not like people who don’t follow party line orthodoxy so I’m almost surprised he still has a viewership.

He would have a greater viewership if he lost the smarmy, self-righteous 'I am brilliant' act. I used to watch every week, and finally got sick of him. Not what he was saying, but how he was saying it. He is now guilty of the same thing the right is guilty of. He takes the nuance out of a topic, and then make a bombastic statement meant to be divisive and then laughs all the way to the bank. For me, it got boring. As for the woke stuff, it has gone way too far. But the OP isn't interested in a discussion about that. It's just a gotcha thread. 'See, even Bill Maher agrees!!!!!!!!!!!'. At least for me, the response is 'so what?'
