Since you supplied the link, you should be able to copy and paste the passages that support your editorialized items in no uncertain terms. From the horses mouth, so to speak, and not from a horse's ass.

So, you don't bother to look at what proof I gave, then demand not only that I prove it by posting from the link but that the posted information is "in no uncertain terms." Then tack on an ad hominem.
There are too many logical fallacies to list in that. I gave a link to Warnock's own website. Deal with it.
Beg to differ. What Maher did was speak truth to jingoism. Calling the 9/11 terrorist and avowed jihadists "cowards" constantly was and is popular, but not wholly accurate. As Maher said, strapping a bomb to yourself to get at your perceived enemy takes guts, but dropping a bomb on someone from 30,000 ft. is cowardly in comparison (especially if your opponent does not have an air force or any effective anti-aircraft weaponry).
Poorly timed, but true none-the-less. Like the old saying goes, "truth hurts".
Mahr does not "pick on Democrats" in so much as point out instances of political incompetency and sometimes the sheer absurd BS that is tolerated for votes. He's not justifying the GOP's recent choices, he's saying DON'T DO STUPID SHIT THAT WILL GIVE THEM ANY EXCUSE. His example of the pneumatic transvestite teacher is a perfect example.
Truth hurts.

The problem is, Bill picks on obscure extremist stuff done by arguably stupid officials in liberal parts of California, like San Francisco that really isn't an issue everywhere else, and insinuates the problem is party-wide. It's the same thing trolls on this forum do - they cherry-pick something stupid some obscure Democrat says or does in one part of the country and claims all Democrats are that way. It's wrong, it's misleading, and it's not helping the cause. People like this OP on this forum pick it up and use it. Bill's got to get over his firing 20 year ago. He's doing fine on HBO.
Not true, per se. Maher runs the gambit from "obscure" items to official political party/groups statements, proposals and actions. He point to two examples of a trend in "progressive/liberal/democratic" social politics that's nationwide in various forms. Like he points out, you can't focus in on Herschel Walker (a LOCAL race for ONE Senate seat) and ignore all the "obscure" and "extremist" stuff done by "stupid" conservatives in various cities and states that he directly/inadvertently supports.
Hell, Fox News became an media monster by doing this. Like it or not, when you start sending these clowns to Congress, it all ties in.
The OP helps the "cause" (and there are divisions as to just what that is and how to achieve it) because it's an honest critique....and like I said, the truth hurts sometimes. YOU keep using an opinion that Maher is hung up on getting fired from politically incorrect, and therefore this validates your current criticism. I say no, because Real Time has been running for some time now. Maher is no saint, and I don't agree with him all the time, but this one he's on target.

I have watched him since Politically Incorrect. I always thought he was very intelligent and insightful.Funny how right wingers only watch Maher when he is bashing liberals.
