Bill Burr on Abortion

Probably went viral because of the “Trumpian” way he said it. I watched with the sound down and captioned because of the vulgarity of the language, but like you say, he expresses a sentiment that many people hold but many aren’t often willing to vocalize because of the cancel culture. Maybe this guy … and Michigan’s Harbaugh who said it, shall we say, with more grace, are a sign of some being more willing to voice an opinion that isn’t necessarily aligned with those in control of the airwaves, albeit aligned with about half the country.

He did say he was pro-choice though. Admittedly I don't pay all that much attention to the abortion debate. I know there are people who think abortion should never be allowed. I know there are people who think it should be allowed basically up to birth. And I know there are many positions in between. Burr is basically saying he's pro-choice but that abortion is also killing a baby.

Granted he's a well known comedian which makes what he says more likely to go viral than others but I'm guessing it's also because a fair number of people share his viewpoint.
