Big, if true

Why do we make a big deal about the pope but not the head of any other church.
Perhaps because:

The Catholic Church, also known as the Roman Catholic Church, is the largest Christian church, with 1.28 to 1.39 billion baptized Catholics worldwide as of 2024. It is among the world's oldest and largest international institutions and has played a prominent role in the history and development of Western civilization.

The Catholics in my Parish have not been pleased with his Socialist activist actions.

While true, this also shows that Protestants outnumber Catholics substantially. And the gap is widening.

Both are relevant.

Both have similar doctrines. There will be a new Pope soon and that is a good thing. Hopefully, one who will deal with the eternal truths of Catholic doctrine and not politics.

He has pneumonia in both lungs, Brad. He is in the Gemelli hospital, and has been since last Friday.

No wonder you have so few clients.

SOON, VERY SOON

The pope, 88, is undergoing treatment at Rome’s Gemelli hospital, where he was admitted on Friday after struggling with breathing difficulties for several days, in what was first described as bronchitis. Francis was diagnosed with multiple infections in his lungs on Monday before a scan on Tuesday afternoon revealed pneumonia, the Vatican says.

“The follow-up chest CT scan to which the Holy Father underwent this afternoon demonstrated the onset of bilateral pneumonia, which required additional drug therapy,” the Vatican added.

He was also suffering from asthmatic bronchitis, which was being treated with cortisone antibiotics, the Vatican stated.

“Laboratory tests, chest X-ray, and the Holy Father’s clinical condition continue to present a complex picture,” the Vatican added in a statement.
