Seems Joke has made yet another foreign policy, and domestic policy, blunder of epic proportions, the latest in a long string of foreign policy mistakes and disasters for him. Nice to know his track record for fucking up foreign policy is solidly one of failure.
The combination of Joke's Greentard push domestically--one of the most insane, scientifically illiterate, and damaging domestic policies in at least a century, if not ever--and war on oil at home, has emboldened OPEC to once again attain dominant cartel status on the world market. The Saudis and Russia are running oil prices, not the US and allies.
What this has done is allow Russia, who is still selling just as much oil on the world market, only now to countries still friendly to them like China, rather than openly to any buyer. The result for Russia is their economic status has changed little and they are poised to make money hand over fist from oil that will fund their war in Ukraine.
At the same time, Joke's idiocies have hurt the US economy badly, contributing to high inflation, lowering domestic production, and given the US no leverage over foreign oil producers.
