Biden’s food stamp expansion linked to 15% jump in grocery prices

A push by the Biden administration to increase food stamp benefits to the tune of $1 trillion could be responsible for a 15% rise in prices at the grocery store, according to a government watchdog report.

Went to the grocery store the other day, I bought a half a pound of sliced turkey, half a pound of sliced cheddar cheese and six rolls to make some lunch over the week it cost me $16.49. WTF!!???

Well, Mickey D's these days will set you back $12 to $20 for a meal... But most locations will take your food stamp card!

Kroger deli meats here are running around $19/lb.
 
We are now routinely paying about $25/lb for the good cheeses at the Murray's section of Kroger....up from $18 just a couple of years ago.
