Biden's bungling in the news

Bungling Biden’s Big New Tax

The fiscal 2023 budget he unveiled Monday re-proposes most of the bad ideas that haven’t passed Congress and adds a new one—a tax that he refused to endorse as a candidate in 2020.

On the economy, he’s pivoting further left—presumably to fire up sullen progressives in November.

The White Louse is proposing a new “billionaire minimum income tax,” which the Federal Trade Commission would call false advertising if a private company tried that description.

The tax isn’t limited to billionaires and it applies to more than income.

It’s a new tax on Americans whose effective tax rate in any year is less than 20% of their income.

But these taxpayers already pay a 23.8% tax rate on capital gains and 37% on ordinary income.

The average tax rate for the top 1% of taxpayers in 2019 was 25.6%.

Here’s the bungling Biden trick: The 20% minimum tax rate would apply both to ordinary income and the increase in the value of assets in a given year.

This means taxing unrealized capital gains, which currently aren’t taxed until assets are sold and income is actually realized.

In other words, this is a new tax on wealth—even if it’s structured differently than what Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders have proposed.

The White Louse is redefining "wealth" as "income".

Interest on Savings Accounts Isn’t Budging Despite Rising Bidenflation.

U.S. interest rates are the highest they've been in years and Bidenflation is soaring, but most banks are paying customers essentially zero interest on their savings accounts.

WSJ’s Dion Rabouin explains why that is and why it’s unlikely to change soon.

Here’s Why: https://www.wsj.com/video/interest-...B5-E152BD88A245.html?mod=trending_now_video_4

The typical misleading BS from Leprosy.

More or less the whole world — including his own advisers — criticized bungling Biden for his latest gaffe in saying in his Warsaw speech on Saturday that Vladimir Putin “cannot remain in power.”

Bungling Biden’s remark, even after its repudiation on Sunday by Secretary of (Deep) State Stinkin' Blinken, may well make it harder to negotiate with Putin over Ukraine or anything else.

And bungling Biden’s habit of misstating his own policies—no fewer than three times during his European trip—is especially dangerous amid an international crisis.

Then again, some of the same critics who are lambasting bungling Biden helped to hide his obviously fading capacities in the 2020 campaign.

They circled the wagons around his Delaware basement because they were desperate to depose President Trump.

Members of Congress of both parties will have to play a more assertive role.

The pattern is that the White Louse resists a tougher policy until it faces a defeat or difficult vote on Capitol Hill. Bipartisan coalitions of the willing will be even more important as the war continues, and threats from Iran, Communist China and North Korea escalate.

Bungling Biden desperately needs to diversify the advice he gets beyond the neo-liberal internationalists who dominate his councils. Susan Rice, Ron Klain and Jake Sullivan have the Afghan failure on their resumes along with numerous others.

The world is entering the most dangerous period since the Soviet Union collapsed, and perhaps since the 1930s.

The politically-motivated "Covid crisis" obscured the trend, but the dangers have become obvious as adversaries have reacted to the American decline, division and weakness at the root of the Afghanistan debacle. America needs to back up his Warsaw words with a defense buildup and far more diplomatic realism to confront the great risks ahead.

REPUBLICAN RESOLVE

DEMOCRAT DISASTER

What really piqued my interest was the Pizzagate photo op with the 82nd Airborne Division.

There was bungling Biden with the storied parachute regiment that had always represented the best and most courageous that America could muster in wartime.

I immediately thought of the famous pictures of Eisenhower on the eve of D-Day as he met with the 101st Airborne, joking with the lower ranks, asking them where they were from, and just being Ike. He knew full well that many of them would die on the following day on the drop into France as the vanguard of the invasion of occupied Europe.

Was there something symbolic or emblematic in this picture of bungling Biden wolfing pizza?

Then bungling Biden spoke to the soldiers and told them they would soon be going to Ukraine and see the war for themselves. “You’re going to see when you’re there – some of you have been there – you’re going to see women, young people, standing in the middle, in front of a damn tank, saying, ‘I’m not leaving.'”

Although none of the airborne members fell out of their chairs, you could see in their eyes that they were not expecting this and many seemed to be wondering if they should take this old guy seriously and start preparing for the worst.

Bungling Biden’s trip to convene with NATO leaders followed by one gaffe after another with troops and government leaders in Poland proved to be business as usual: a communications disaster that could become a military disaster.

What, if anything, is in bungling Biden’s mind when he makes statements such as those he made last week?

On Saturday, bungling Biden called on the people of Russia to stand up against President Putin and throw him out of power.

Bungling Biden said, “The American people will stand with you,” adding, “For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power,” and emphasizing the need to “fight the corruption coming from the Kremlin.”

That’s not escalatory?

Let’s hope a specific kind of damage was done by that remark.

Bungling Biden, by appeasing Putin in a host of ways, has for over a year relied on Putin and his representatives run the Iran negotiations and help talk Iran into a renewal of the 2015 Obama-era nuclear weapons deal with Iran.

If bungling Biden’s off-script ranting to oust Putin enrages the latter, Putin could ensure that the new Iran deal will fall through.

That wouldn't be a bad thing, but I doubt it's what bungling Biden's handlers want.

Bungling Biden’s Mouth Is a Serious National-Security Risk

82nd-Ariborne.jpg

HE RAN HIS MOUTH & THEIR LIVES COULD GO SOUTH

The news, this morning:

Bungling Biden appeared to reveal that the U.S. is training Ukrainian forces in Poland — stating for the first time since the war began that American troops are actively teaching Ukrainians to fight and kill Russians.

That’s not what bungling Biden said Monday.

After delivering remarks about the White Louse’s huge new budget request, bungling Biden answered a reporter’s question about comments he made when meeting the 82nd Airborne in Poland, in which he implied American forces would be going to Ukraine.

Bungling Biden denied that’s what he meant, adding: “We’re talking about helping train the Ukrainian troops that are in Poland.”

Pressed again, bungling Biden blurted, “I was referring to being with, and talking with, the Ukrainian troops that are in Poland.”

It’s right there in the White Louse transcript: https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing...biden-announcing-the-fiscal-year-2023-budget/

Leon Panetta Thinks He Knows Why Bungling Biden Keeps Making Gaffes

Bungling Biden's penchant for gaffes has become news again this week, after which he proceeded to botch his attempt to "clarify" what he said in a press conference on Monday.

While some point to his age as the source of his frequent gaffes, former Secretary of Defense and CIA Director Leon Panetta — someone who served alongside bungling Biden in the Obama administration — apparently has a new theory that's more of a slight at a group of Americans than a cogent argument.

Joining Alisyn Camerota on CNN on Monday, Panetta made his case as to why he believes bungling Biden made the statement contradicting his own policy toward Putin.

"I happen to think that Biden, you know, is Irish," Panetta told Camerota, apparently opening a new line of excuses for bungling Biden's frequently bungled statements.

Apparently, being "Irish" means that bungling Biden, in addition to being a gaffe machine, "really, has a great deal of compassion when he sees that people are suffering," Panetta claimed, before suggesting bungling Biden was "overwhelmed".

Bungling Biden was born in the USA.

With Bidenflation running hot, Google searches for food stamps remain elevated

Bruising levels of Bidenflation from rent to gas to food continues to hit many American households hard, so hard it may be pushing a new group of the population into food stamps, according to new data.

Google search volumes for "food stamps" are running 100% higher than pre-Biden levels, according to DataTrek. Search volumes have trended even higher since the start of 2022 as Bidenflation has accelerated, notably at the gas pump.

Volumes peaked in April 2020 as millions of people lost their job due to the crushing COVID-19 pandemic.

"It is remarkable that 'food stamp' Google search volumes remain so elevated in what DEMOCRATS say is a hot U.S. economy, but we suspect food Bidenflation and still-lower levels of labor force participation versus pre-Biden are playing a role here," DataTrek says.

The ripple effect of bungling Biden's disastrous botching of the withdrawal from Afghanistan will continue.

This new “Bungling Biden Doctrine” showed that Americans were willing to create a power vacuum, one that will have repercussions long term for us and the rest of the world, simply to say, “It’s over.”

It clearly signaled to Russia that there would be posturing if it tried to seize Ukraine, but little else.

Red China, the Biden crime family's majority shareholder, has sat back and smirked smugly at the events in Europe with its new partner, Russia so far.

Putin’s claim on Ukraine has a close parallel to the claim that bungling Biden's paymasters in Peking have made in regard to Taiwan for decades.

There can be little doubt that bungling Biden's bosses in Beijing are processing the global response and using it as a template to resolve its long-standing claims on Taiwan.

The Chinese are a reflective people, they observe and make calculated decisions. Remember, Sun Tzu was Chinese.

As such, it is important to understand what Red China has learned from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine thus far.

Under Beijing's bought boy bungling Biden, the United States is no longer the leader of the free world. We are not leading, but simply a mewling member of a pathetic pack of perennially posturing pussies at this point.

What will Communist China do? That remains to be seen. For now, the good people of Taiwan must miss President Trump. Their enemy is getting free tutorials on nation-grabbing.
