Bernie Madoff: Bond $10 Million

Responsible for the largest Ponzi scheme in history, defrauded thousands of investors out
of tens of billions of dollars over the course of 17 years, possibly longer.

Donald Trump: Bond $455 Million

No victim, banks paid back early with interest, and banks wanted to do more business with Trump.

Anyone see the obvious radical leftist attempt to take Donald Trump out of the upcoming election?

Everyone who applied for a loan in New York State was a victim of Donald Trump’s lies.

You are very ignorant as to how the fine was calculated.

Bernie Madoff paid a bail of $10 million to not be in jail before his trial.

Madoff lost almost all his assets and over $11 billion was recovered from Madoff and claw backs.

On June 26, 2009, Judge Chin ordered Madoff to personally forfeit $170 million in assets, and his wife, Ruth agreed to relinquish her claims to more than $80 million and to retain only $2.5 million
...
As of 26 February 2018, Picard announced a new recovery disbursement of $621 million, bringing the net recovery up to $11.4 billion.[88] Picard is holding another $1.8 billion is held in reserve for contested claims. A separate fund run by the Department of Justice distributed $723 million in November 2017, with another $3 billion in that fund remaining to be distributed.[88]

Trump lost less than 5% what the court found and got from Madoff's judgement.

this is the same political party that says democracy is at stake as they use the courts to kick a Kennedy off the ballots in Nevada.

weaponizing the judicial system is their MO and always has been

Everyone who applied for a loan in New York State was a victim of Donald Trump’s lies.

Really? How so? Can you give us the details of that?

You are very ignorant as to how the fine was calculated.

I'm not. The quack of a cab driving, bar band drummer, of a judge, decided the amount based on fictional / fantasy future crimes Trump might commit to defraud banks say, a decade or two from now because he couldn't find any harm or victim due to anything Trump had done to date in the past...

Neal Peart was a bar band drummer...

Its fairly simple, there is a finite amount of money banks have to lend, if I apply for a loan and am honest and someone else applies for a loan and fraudulently inflates their creditworthiness, I am less likely to get the loan. Capitalism works with loans, so others will pay a larger interest rate if Trump pays a smaller one. There is a reason they make people fill out the applications and provide their asset information when deciding on a loan. There is a reason you have to sign the application under the part where it says it is a crime to provide false information.

At the time, Trump was using one bank Deutsche. There were plenty of other commercial banks others could go to. Aside from that, you offer no proof that Trump's loans had any detrimental effect on other lending.

But he didn't decide to become a liar... err, lawyer and then a judge... Engoron should have stuck to driving a cab...

No, he didn't. He made an honest living. I agree Engoron should have stayed driving a cab, but he'd have wrecked too often doing that, too.

Wrong, read the order. Or continue to stay ignorant, its safer that way, you can keep your current incorrect value system.

It still took up part of the market, You think if Trump had not taken the loan, Deutsche would not have found another borrower?

Trump should be entitled to cheat, while others are not?

Donald J Trump - judgement - $455 million
Donald J Trump - bail - $0

No, everyone that applies for a loan in New York (which at this time is nearly impossible or doubtful at best) will be subject to the democrat FBI, DOJ,
District attorneys that have the politically insane power to bring them to court and indict them on whatever frivolous charges they deem helpful for the
radical dem party, which is exactly what they did to Trump. People are leaving New York in droves because of this sham partisan attack on Trump, along
with the rampant crime that is being allowed by the feckless dem mayor and feckless governor, and of course because of the feckless anti American
biden who has allowed illegals to roam freely throughout our nation while getting tax paying benefits that far out pass the benefits that our own
poverty stricken American citizens are trying to live by.

You are delusional.

People leave NY in droves every evening after arriving in droves every morning. It's called a commute. Something you probably have no clue about.
