Why the heck is Oregon and Auburn ranked #1 and #2.

Boise State would destroy them both, but because they arent in a BCS conference they are getting screwed.

Same thing with TCU.

In fact if Oregon and Auburn both lose, than Alabama with 1 loss, would get bumped up higher than two teams with NO losses...

Man thats bullshit.

I cant even watch college football until they have a legitimate playoff. Its just butt stupid. Who wants to watch a sport that has no legitimate outcome at the end.
 
You claim Boise State would kill them, but you only know that Boise has beaten the like of Fresno St. and Hawaii. Not exactly tough teams.

A big part of ranking the teams is based on how tough their schedule is, and Boise's is weak. If TCU wins out they will probably jump Boise St too.

And look for Alabama to beat Auburn, win the SEC Championship, and play for the BCS Championship. :good4u:

I still love watching College football but hate the fact that there really isn't a legitimate outcome at the end of the season. Who gets to decide if a team is #1? Used to be just coaches and sports writers....uck! It is somewhat better now that the computer is added to the mix but c'mon...let's have a playoff like there is in every other major sport.
 
They do need a system, but I am loving being the bene of the current system.

besides - I come form new England where we don't have any super colleges that take up the entire state. Therefore don't have any legitimate college football contenders. Its funny I travel to TX on business alot and its like they could care less that there team in the world series or that Houston Texans are in first place over the colts.. All they care about is college football longhorns. Its fascinating.. would be like being in College and caring about a high school team. Only very few college players go on to the Pros.
