Atlanta Popeyes workers ‘violently’ attacked customer in the drive-thru

I think some details are being left out here.

The attack obviously happened but I doubt it was over someone trying to correct an order.

Anyone who's worked in the restaurant industry knows that people correct orders all the time or that customers complain.

I am thinking this lady said something to provoke them and while it is no excuse for violence I think it probably wasn't all their fault.

It would be interesting to hear the other side of the story here.

Battery is also a very broad term, you can get charged with it simply by touching someone who may find that touch offensive. Also, a battery charge is usually added with an assault charge which didn't happen in this case, either way it's still only a misdemeanor.

The fact that this lady is complaining that her hair was ruined also tells me that nothing that serious actually happened. Sounds like a couple girls got into a little cat fight is all.

This lady was probably rude and said something to piss off the girl she was talking to and they got into it and her friends jumped in.

Back in Old America there was a big red line between verbal and physical aggression and harm.

Them days are long gone....Conservatives failed to protect America.....and failed all the way.

What a dumb statement.

We used to have politicians dueling with pistols back in the day because they got into an argument.

We are much more civil overall now.

There were no red lines, if you pissed someone off you usually got shot and probably would get away with it since there were no forensics.

The cops back then used force to extreme measures because there were no bodycams.

You certainly do not know American history.
