Astronomical cliffhanger

As an amateur astronomer, this really IS a cliffhanger to me. I've invested a lot of money into equipment to take pictures of this bad boy! But even if ISON fizzles out, there is so much more jaw-droppingly beautiful stuff to see up there.

I always feel in awe, when I'm far enough out to see the night sky.
It reminds of when I was growing up and I would go outside at night and see the sky full of stars.

Have you a reflector or a refractor telescope?
