Las Vegas Police undersheriff Kevin McHaill said officers who were at the concert were able to pinpoint where the gunfire was coming from.

'They could see that the rounds were coming from that particular location as heavy fire, automatic fire at times. And so they were corralling all of the people that were actually at the concert behind a block wall,' he said.

Hundreds of rounds of ammunition were emptied into the crowd, with Paddock stopping several times to reload as he carried out his massacre.

Among those shot dead at the concert were police officers. A large number of law enforcement and military personnel had been attending the show.

Two police officers who engaged the shooter have been hospitalized - one in critical condition, the other less-severely wounded.

Investigations are still ongoing.

Lets not imply that hatred is a black and white, liberal and conservative, pro gun anti gun issue, or that it follows along any ideology. Hatred is something anyone is capable of.
We must identify those who fuel hatred. What is their objective? Who is orchestrating?
We must also ask ourselves why so many give into their hateful mantra. It seems to be overall dissatisfaction.
Recognizing that is one of the reasons our current potus was elected, lets not kid ourselves. Nothing wrong with it, as all candidates could have done just that and used it to benefit their campaign.
Citizens are dissatisfied. Why? Are we being told that we should expect more? Are we being told that we are mistreated, not heard, dismissed, not equal (stop right there, I am not just implying race, but socio economics...remember the 99%?)
I don't know that answers.

I see antifa as a symptom. Who is behind it? Who is telling these people to do what they do? Who has brainwashed them into thinking that their lives are so miserable? The media? Politicians?

Not everything is black and white. I am just as disgusted with conservatives as I am with liberals, but both sides come up with some great ideas. Now if we could all get together and make these ideas work, that would be great. Partisan fighting and standoffishness isn't very beneficial to anyone, least of which are the American people.
