To his millions of critics, it was another week that proved Donald Trump is unfit for office and dangerous to democracy. But to the top leaders of Trump’s Republican party, it was another week to keep heads down and say nothing.

Trump was, and always has been, a moral test for Republican voters. A test they have repeatedly failed.

Along comes the pigfucking orangutan Trump,
and he seduces rank and file members,
whose support you absolutely need to advance your agenda,
into becoming members of his mutant cult.

What talking are you going to do when he gets himself in another jam?
 
Trump offers nothing. His talent is being a con man and reading an audience. The con worked on millions of Americans and they cannot escape. When he gave those low-grade rallies, occasionally he would change the direction of his speech to fuel the specific anger and hate his audience was generating. He was shocked that his con worked on a national scale. That is when he said "I could shoot someone on 5th avenue and not lose any voters.". That was not telling about him, but his followers. They bought it all.
