Are media outlets that criticize Trump "illegal"?

They are to him and he has the power to suppress free speech.
LOL, here we see a lefty who says Trump has the power to suppress free speech. He would never do what the lefties have
been doing for four straight years by suppressing the speech of most every Republican they can find, and they (the left)
even suppressed Trump's speech on some of those media outlets. So wake up to reality.

On March 14, 2025, during a speech at the Department of Justice, Donald Trump stated that U.S. media outlets critical of him, specifically naming CNN and MSNBC, are "illegal" and "corrupt." He claimed that these outlets "literally write 97.6 percent bad about me" and asserted that "it has to stop. It has to be illegal." Trump further described them as "political arms of the Democrat party" and suggested that their actions, which he believes influence judges and change laws, "cannot be legal." This rhetoric aligns with his ongoing pattern of attacking media that report negatively on him, though no specific legal basis for declaring such criticism "illegal" was provided in his remarks.
