I guess no one is interested in this. There's a good chance the state of Georgia is hours away from executing an innocent man. Perry supporters say that "it takes balls to execute an innocent man". This leads me to believe that there is no act so morally depraved that the loons on the right won't cheer for it and wet their pants in excitement. I bet if there was certainty that he was innocent, and they televised his execution on pay-per-view, the red states would be ordering it so fast they would crash the system.

I do think that the fact that 7/9 witnesses have recanted their stories is a pretty good argument for a stay of execution. Also, there are some other irregularities with evidence being inconsistent. The only reason why its tough for him is because a cop was killed.

and yet another dishonest thread by legiontroll. as if no black person has had their execution stayed, as if no white person has been executed.

weak trolling, even for you loser troll.

The state of Texas is set to execute another innocent man today as well.

(Reuters) - Texas is set to execute on Wednesday a white supremacist convicted of helping to kill a black man by dragging him behind a truck, in what some call the most notorious race crime of the post-Civil Rights era.

Lawrence Russell Brewer, 44, was convicted of capital murder along with two other men in the kidnapping and slaying of James Byrd Jr. in 1998. Brewer is set to die by lethal injection after 6 p.m. local time Wednesday in Huntsville, Texas.

Too bad Webbys' hero is doomed. I noticed that Yurtroll failed to question Webbos' claim that the killer is innocent.
