"We must beware of a tyranny of opinion which tries to make only one side of a question the one which may be heard. Everyone is in favor of free speech, but some people’s idea of it is that they are free to say what they like, but if anyone says anything back, that is an outrage" - Winston Churchill

So all of the lefts bullying on campus's across the nation to shut down speakers they don't like is what again?

I guess then that is settled it, they "have the emails," nothing like regurgitating another right wing conspiracy to end conversation, beautiful, "we have the emails"

Virginia is a purple State, and the size of the victory made it noteworthy, was suppose to be a close election

Yet they replace a Dem Governor with a Dem Governor. They voted Dem the past three Presidential elections. VA has been more blue than purple of late. With the influx of population from the DC area (which is heavily Dem), VA has pretty much turned blue.

Please provide some examples of such. Thanks.

Examples, really? So the half dozen or so college campus' where individuals protested against right wing speakers compares to the Federal Justice Dept using its influence to limit the reach of a recognized news network in the United States because it criticizes thier boss? or not being allowed to debate legislation in what is suppose to be the peoples' chamber?

Don't worry about it. You guys will always have plenty of outlets to complain and disagree.

Half dozen? You have to be kidding. If you are going to be that dishonest, then there is no point discussing anything further.

As for your 'politico' claims... when you bring forth an actual person and not an anonymous source... then we can discuss. Because according to that article...

"Justice Department officials later said that the companies themselves offered to sell CNN but that DOJ's antitrust division rejected that option. DOJ told the companies that divesting CNN wouldn't necessarily solve the harm to the public caused by the mega-merger, the officials said."

While the companies say they didn't offer to sell CNN... it is currently a he said, she said and according to the quote above... selling CNN doesn't alleviate the concerns justice has with the merger.

As for Steyer... yeah, Fox can choose not to run ads. They are PAID advertisements. Steyer can go to any other network and run his ads. It is not stopping his right to free speech.

As for Ryan... yeah, Dems don't like him. That is hardly stopping free speech.

As for Fox covering the VA elections... yeah, a Dem replacing a Dem... isn't that big of a deal. I know the left wing media is trying to pretend this was a referendum on Trump, but that doesn't mean Fox and others have to follow suit.

Also... CNN is a part of every single cable package... Direct TV, Comcast/Xfinity, Dish, Time Warner etc... so how is Justice 'using its influence to limit the reach of CNN'???
