I always say it, but can you imagine if Trump had the #'s Biden has had? It would be the most amazing jobs economy ever, of all time.

Trump is going to have an extremely hard time even matching Biden's employment #'s, or how the stock market has been.

This is what a good jobs report looks like, not the anemic 119k jobs the Trump economy managed last month

1) Any economist will tell you not to compare December to other months because of the seasonal hiring distortions. If someone wants to dunk on the current job report, they need to pick a different month.

2) The BLS revised job growth from April 2024 to March 2025 downwards by 900,000 jobs, which was roughly half the jobs first reported. This isn’t the dunk people think it is.

It hardly ever is. In either direction. However, with the gutting of the BLS with Trump toadies, I’ll be looking elsewhere for any reliable data. I suspect the rest of the world will be doing the same.
