"Partisanship, Propaganda, and Disinformation: Online Media and the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election"

"In this study, we document that the majority of mainstream media coverage was negative for both candidates, but largely followed Donald Trump’s agenda: when reporting on Hillary Clinton, coverage primarily focused on the various scandals related to the Clinton Foundation and emails. When focused on Trump, major substantive issues, primarily immigration, were prominent. Indeed, immigration emerged as a central issue in the campaign and served as a defining issue for the Trump campaign."

"Attempts by the Clinton campaign to define her campaign on competence, experience, and policy positions were drowned out by coverage of alleged improprieties associated with the Clinton Foundation and emails. Coverage of Trump associated with immigration, jobs, and trade was greater than that on his personal scandals."

But the reality won't stop conservatives from echoing the fabrication, I anticipate the usual "fake news" malarkey or the Hillary obsession to be posted quickly as a rebuttal to the facts

Trump in a NYC Democrat who uses the media how he pleases.

The point still stands, a liberal b*tching about the media is priceless. You know, the whole other foot thing

Regardless of what Trump did, that media have him more coverage and more positive coverage than Clinton, exact point that makes the right wing MSM myth fiction

And I wasn't "bitching about the media," never offered an opinion on the media, rather just stated the facts, that the media covered Trump more and gave him more positive coverage than Clinton

the 91% negative coverage actually worked for trump!

Quite the opposite;

"while reporting on Hillary Clinton, coverage primarily focused on the various scandals related to the Clinton Foundation and emails.
