I love the invocations of capitalism and free enterprise in defense of a corporation that owes virtually its entire existence to the Department of Defense. It's pretty funny. I don't blame Haley for being pissed, but the folks at Boeing only have themselves to blame. Of course, it isn't in Haley's interest to point that out so she's doing the next best thing in the best venue to do it.
Edit: I would add, though, that Haley's a litte off on the facts. Boeing executives said that the reason for the move to SC was not because "the cost of doing business is low, our job training and work force are strong, and our ports are tremendous" and the fact that SC is a right to work state was not just an added bonus. The move was because the union at the Washington plant exercised its federally protected right to strike.

I suspect that he'll avoid them as much as possible. Unless he polls down early.

This is just another example of people's ignorance of history. From the repeal of the Glass/Steagall Act to contemplating privatizing SS some folks have no idea why things were/are the way they were/are.
There is a reason why unions are necessary and why they came into existence. Obama and government officials have every right to get involved. Perhaps Ms. Haley should spend less time writing articles and spend more time studying history.
