another case of double standard justice

how is this double standard? most dui's never see a day in jail and that fine is standard, in fact, most dui's don't even get probation

you're absolutely right, yurt. nothing to see here. move along.

true, your argument is nothing and i certaintly can't see it.

in CA, what you posted in your OP, is standard for first time DUI's. i handled a dui for a friend of a friend, and it was nothing, took minutes in the courtroom. first time, look at BAC, make standard deal with DA, inform judge, end of DUI trial. no jail, sometimes your license isn't suspended from what i was told by DUI attorneys, you pay a fine and/or do community service.

you claimed a double standard, everything you posted in your OP is in fact the standard here. so, you need to show that a suspended license is standard.

any state i've ever lived in, granted that's only Illinois, North Carolina, Missouri, New Mexico, and Texas, first time DUI is license suspended for 1 year.

that is usually the case. not always. so.....what is the double standard again? your OP list of double standards doesn't seem able to stand up, so now, you're on license supsension only.
