It is early days still, but OB/GYNs are beginning to realize they could be in trouble if they move to a red state. They could go to prison for even mentioning abortion. So, if a patient is having medical problems, it is questionable whether a doctor can even mention possible outcomes.
These are not doctors who want to do elective abortions, but doctors who realize that abortions might be needed in some cases.
