an example of cops against accountability

On may 12th, rochester NY police arrested Emily Good for videotaping police arresting a man across the street from her home. They said they were concerned for their safety and ordered her to go in to her own home. Rightfully, she refused, so they arrested her for a couple of different misdemeanors. Now that the video has gone viral, the people of rochester decided to attend the next city council meeting to discuss police accountability.

So naturally, the rochester police department decided to retaliate.

At approximately 5:30pm, four police cars were seen driving east on Troup St. and then turned right onto Clarissa St. The police cars parked a block down from the Flying Squirrel and got out of their cars holding clips boards and ticket books. They proceeded to walk down the line of parked cars on Clarissa St. checking registrations and inspections directly across from where the meeting was taking place. They then proceeded to pull out rulers to measure the distance from the curb to the tires of each car. They stated that they had received civilian complaints regarding cars being parked too far from the curb on Clarissa St.

nice police work there, Lou.

If you have ever seen an MMPI taken by an police candidate and one from a criminal you would be hard pressed to differentiate one from the other. My dad used to give and score the MMPI's to the people enter the police acadamy. He redacted the names from one of them and one of the criminal evals he did, and there was some disturbing similarities.
