Good video. Whenever I saw videos of Hedges' speeches, I always thought that he sounds exactly like the Presbyterian ministers I heard as a child. He is a Presbyterian minister. It's like they have their own, specific accent.

I now see the U.S. a little bit less of a nation and more of a failing empire.

LOL, I have never been to a Presbyterian church but he does have some peculiar mannerism now that you mention it..

I have been to some churches where the pastor does that "tisk" thing w/ their tongue as a pause......

blah blah blah blah (hesitate or not) tisk 2-3 sec pause then blah blah blah.... As if to accent their point...

I find it phony & annoying, like some gimmick they all learned @ that seminary they attended..
