I just saw a report on the news in which it was revealed that Amazon plans to start including next to the price of each item, the dollar figure that trump's tariffs will add to each purchase.

Reports are that trump is not happy about it.

During a press conference when asked about it, trump's press whore jumped up on her hind legs and toed the trump line, saying that the act (of telling the truth) was a "hostile and political" act.


Amazon has denied the report.

I hope they do it.

Just having the story circulating about them considering it has made the connection in people's minds that the higher prices they'll soon be experiencing on Amazon are thanks to the orange idiot and his bumbling buffoonery policies.

Win-win for the decent half of society who are intelligent enough to see what a trainwreck nightmare trump has been for America.

Yeah, apparently Amazon was going to, on one set of pages (not the MAIN pages) for a certain sub-business that they run (Amazon Haul? Or something like that). It doesn't sound like they had done anything yet and it wouldn't have been to the main pages, but it upsets Trump because he realizes that once his poorly educated followers realize he was lying about China covering the cost of the tariffs he's going to lose support.

So much for "Transparency" or honest dealings.

Yeah, I'm hoping more companies do this and actually follow through with it. But given that we are probably goingn to start seeing storeshelves emptying out in May (due to shipment cessation from China) the pain will be obvious enough. Even to people who voted for Trump. Perhaps especially for them.
