The motivations of others eludes you and is replaced by your fantasy "evil" opponent. Off color jokes aside, I know of not even one person who wants alligators to eat any detainees. Though if I were to play your game, the only people hoping for such a thing are the left, as they hope "when" it happens it will cause no end of trouble for the Trump administration.

Giving people the motivation of a cartoon supervillain is fun, but not very meaningful. It doesn't progress the conversation in any meaningful way. Though your "friends" will clap you on the back and think you are "wise".

I wrote that they fantasized about detainees being eaten by alligators. That is a weird fantasy, whether they wanted to see it in real life or not.

MAGA morons really latched onto the idea of an internment camp surrounded by a moat with alligators. I don't think they liked the idea because inmates would be able to enjoy seeing the local wildlife.

What a stupid and irrelevant comparison.

Defined:

A guarded compound for the mass detention without hearings or the imprisonment without trial of civilians, as refugees, members of ethnic minorities, political opponents, etc.

Those in Alligator Alcatraz have been charged as criminals, given legal hearings, a right to legal representation, been read their Rights and presented with the charges against them. They are not there because of their politics, race, religion, or gender. They are not there to be held indefinitely without bail or a hearing but rather because they've been adjudicated or found guilty of being in the US illegally and are to be deported. The primary reason the site was chosen was it has a runway that can be used for deportation flights.
