Aleppo

Kind of surprised this hasn't been discussed either from the humanitarian disaster that it is or from a political blame game perspective.

what's to discuss? It's been going on for awhile - although last year ( before the heavy Russian involvement) it was going well for the rebels
-they almost seized the entire city.
Russian air/Hezbollah and Iranian expeditionary forces ( Qods) became effective fighting groups, and turned that around..

Last I heard there was some convoys of refugees being able to leave -but it's clearly a killing zone..

Maybe we'll think twice before we label the next autocrat "terrorist". Sadam/Qaddafi/Assad....at least with Clinton out of the picture..maybe

Aleppo? Is that a new dog food brand? [/sarcasm]

Why it hasn't received coverage and why more people aren't at least concerned from a humanitarian standpoint bothers me immensely.

Yes. Not only that, I supported hanging Saddam by the neck until dead.

Please recuse yourself from any discussion about foreign policy, or "war criminals."

And you should know that the debacle you supported is what is getting in the way of real action to stop what's happening in Aleppo.

So, congrats. You really shouldn't lecture anyone about anything, ever. You don't know shite.

Aleppo is Putin's call. It's always been a Russian client state (Syria), and we made ourselves irrelevant there.

Saddam used NBC weapons on American troops in 1991. Death was the only thing coming his way, the wages of sin and all that.

This thread is about Aleppo, not a rehash of the Iraq War.

Obama has said previously America should not stand by when mass causalities are taking place around the world. Like any foreign event we have to weigh the pros and cons and potential future consequences of current actions. Ultimately even America is affected by what's happening in Syria.

I was asked a serious question and I answered it so blow me. Now as for Aleppo I'll say what I've always said, Obama is a war criminal. I've said that many times yet no one has ever asked why I say that.

They're not unrelated. Obama has been indecisive on Aleppo, but our options were limited because or Iraq.

It's our fault and we should take care of it. Thanks to Obama the war criminal.

Another delusional RW piece of shit comment. Your other stupid motherfucker, Bush the Puppet, got us neck deep in that end of the world. Now, you have a new puppet, more ignorant than the other one.
