Roger Ailes has died aged 77, according to his wife. The founder and former Chairman and CEO of Fox News resigned last July following allegations of sexual harassment.

His wife Elizabeth, with whom he has one son, released the following statement to Matt Drudge:

'I am profoundly sad and heartbroken to report that my husband, Roger Ailes, passed away this morning. Roger was a loving husband to me, to his son Zachary, and a loyal friend to many.

I am a liberal who values all life, but Roger was human filth who divided the country for personal gain and was a serial sexual harasser. He will be remembered well by all assholes. Just saying.
 
I wish the best for his family and pray for his soul.

I hope this marks a strong turning point for the conservative movement.
 
It comes a time when his network comes in third place in ratings almost every night. The network that was consistently first place when he was in charge.

The facts simply have a liberal lean to them. Thus, when people speak the facts (e.g. climate change), conservatives get bent out of shape that the news is spreading liberal propaganda.

I could list the issues and how conservatives have taken an anti-intellectual, ass-backwards stance on them, and how liberal thinking has paved the way forward for knowledge and problem solving, there's an ocean of issues and I wouldn't know where to start.
 
CNN is trash, MSNBC is insanity. Fox has actually gotten better without Aisles..

None of them are worth all that much

Take a step back and look at the big picture for a minute. You can choose to deny reality but in 1996 when Fox News was created there were almost no conservative voices on the network airways. There was a huge market for it and Fox News met it.

Although you might not know it reading this board there is more to the world than just the President.

Fox News was built around Orielly, a guy who is even more of a degenerate than Ailes. I already conceded that there's a market for liars and assholes.
