Fortunately, the history books are written on Iraq.

This kind of thread makes me wonder what you guys are going to be saying a few more years down the line. I'm sure Saddam will have attacked us, and Congress will have dragged Bush kicking & screaming into war, at the very minimum....

REALLY???? What have the history books written already? The last time I looked, Iraq was ongoing and the outcome will not be decided for at least another decade. What is evident is that the liberation of Iraq and Afghanistan has set in motion the desire throughout the Middle East for liberty, Democracy and freedom.

I guess the history books will have to start using some "whiteout" on their editorials and begin their re-write in a few eh?
