I know... Crosshairs... targets on maps... don't retreat, reload.... all PALE in comparison to this. But we were lectured for a week about it, after Giffords was shot. We were told that this sort of rhetoric was inappropriate and needed to be toned down before some nutbag got the wrong idea... and a lot of people on the right, agreed with that point. Now we have a liberal pinhead saying something so outrageous and obvious, and not a peep from the media or liberal pinheads.

You're odd. My point was that even making jokes can often net you a visit from the Secret Service if you happen to make them about a sitting President. There are people on this site that have very personal experience with that. (Or were, KingRaw left after his visit).

In these videos they were not speaking of somebody already elected as President, they were speaking about a person in a Primary, neither said that they were going to do it themselves. I will note that the newsies have spent time reporting and talking about it. So, it seems that we aren't in some weird territory here discussing this.
