Kinzinger finds the Republicans sliding toward authoritarianism, alienating him from a world he once knew. On 8 January 2021, two days after the Trump-inspired coup attempt, he received a letter signed by 11 members of his family, excoriating him for calling for the president to be removed.

“Oh my, what a disappointment you are to us and to God!’ the letter began. “We were once proud of your accomplishments! Instead, you go against your Christian principles and join ‘the Devil’s army’ (Democrats and the fake news media).”

He’s correct, a political party supporting a defeated President who conspires to not only deny election results but also prevent Congress from executing its Constitutional responsibility of transferring power inorder to maintain power certainly does define a slip into authoritarianism

It's such a cult now. One need look no further than the fact that every person who doesn't obsequiously bow to Trump is a "RINO."

The Democrats have sunk to being a Banana Republic and are trying to jail their political opponents. The American people see through it. Trump is ahead in the polls in 5 battleground states. Biden has been receiving funds from our adversaries. Biden's justice dept is corrupt. Garland lie to Congress under oath. So don't try to talk to me about a "cult" that is just name calling by the Democrat party. Remember the bag of deplorables. How did that work for you?

That’s a laugh, ironic how any Republican that doesn’t bend the knee to Maralago is automatically a RINO, if Reagan himself were around he’d be a RINO also

It was on in front of me,
but as predicted, I slept through the whole thing.

I heard that Mack Jones tossed his teammates under the bus in the post game presser,
but I didn't watch it myself.

I had tomato sauce to take out of the crockpot.


I sure miss Brady, Edelman, and Gronk,

but right now,

I'd be thrilled to have Babe Parilli, Gino Cappelletti, and Jim Nance.

The youngsters can Google them.
