Actual evidence of voter fraud in Detroit

Voting machines in more than one-third of all Detroit precincts registered more votes than they should have during last month’s presidential election, according to Wayne County records prepared at the request of The Detroit News.

Detailed reports from the office of Wayne County Clerk Cathy Garrett show optical scanners at 248 of the city’s 662 precincts, or 37 percent, tabulated more ballots than the number of voters tallied by workers in the poll books. Voting irregularities in Detroit have spurred plans for an audit by Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson’s office, Elections Director Chris Thomas said Monday.

The Detroit precincts are among those that couldn’t be counted during a statewide presidential recount that began last week and ended Friday following a decision by the Michigan Supreme Court.

And if irregularities were found, why would it matter? or to who would it matter?

I think you haven't shown any evidence of how or toward which candidate the crime was committed. You don't even know if it were simple machine error.

I'm 100% in favor of finding those who cheat and putting them in jail.

I'm also in favor of the voting system we use in WA and that OR uses, as it is secure and has a paper trail that can allow for investigation of problems with machines or people.

Also, since most people in my state mail in their ballots, if there is a crime it might just trigger federal mail law - making penalties far more serious than the hand slap nonsense we have in too many places today.

agreed.....why would anyone care that Democrats tabulate more votes than were cast?.........

As Hillary said, "At this point....WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?" The reality? It makes quite a bit of difference and explains just how the democrats could have received almost 3 million more votes in the popular opinion election...as the democrats are unconstitutionally suggesting the EC should be done away with because they are better at cheating than the Republicans? Of course getting caught Red Handed...means nothing to a demwit....the media will downplay it and further suggest that's its somehow racist to suggest such a thing. Just like they did when they covered up the OPEN DOOR from an unsecured server at the STATE DEPARTMENT that allowed another government to hack into the DNC. It don't matter that Hillary was the one that paved the way and opportunity for someone to hack into the system....its the RUSSIANS and the REPUBLICANS that are partners. PRICELESS.

Too many votes in a heavily democrat county?

I'll go with fraud on that every time.
