At least McCain and Volcker get it. Now if we could just get the Obamanation and the idiots in Congress to act upon this sound advice.

Why would they act now? Bush told them about this problem when he was President.

According to Apple they're not going to act with regard to Glass-Steagall because if they do bankers won't lend money. He says we need to fix the economy first and then we can put Glass-Steagall back in place even though (he believes) the removal of Glass-Steagall led to the financial meltdown.

Plus with two wars and health care Obama has too much on his plate (even though it is actually Congress that would have to pass the legislation first but he seems to have taken different history classes than most).
